RING OF VARDA

The 'Ring of Varda' is a rare collectible item from the PlayStation/Sega Saturn game ''. It is so effective that some consider it cheating to deliberately collect one (or two, for as a ring one can be worn on each hand).
It is dropped by the Paranthropus, a moderately durable enemy that is found once in the first castle, and found thrice in the inverted castle. The item will not be dropped until at least one file on the memory card is cleared.
The short description given is 'Golden ring to rule over all!', though it has little to do with J. R. R. Tolkien's ''The Lord of the Rings''.
