RINGSTEAD, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

'Ringstead' is a small village situated in Northamptonshire, England and is located approximately 15 miles to north-east of Northampton in the Nene Valley. The River Nene runs directly past the village in a series of locks. During the 1980's, major sand and gravel excavations took place all around 'Ringstead' leaving many man-made lakes and islands.
