RINKEBY

'Rinkeby' is a suburb of Stockholm in Sweden. It is noted for its high concentration of immigrants and people with immigrant ancestry (see definition of Swede). On 31 December 2006, 89.1% of the population of Rinkeby had an immigrant background.[1] A sociolect called Rinkeby Swedish has been named after Rinkeby. The suburb was a part of the Rinkeby borough until 2007, when it was merged with the borough of Kista to form the Rinkeby-Kista borough. The neighbourhood was part of the so-called ''Million Programme''.
The Rinkeby subway metro station was opened in 1975.
