RIVER HILL HIGH SCHOOL


River Hill High School is a public high school in Clarksville, Maryland. It is part of the Howard County public school system. It is one of the two Technology Magnet schools in Howard County, along with Long Reach High School.[1]

In September 2005, River Hill High School teacher Timothy Hartlove was arrested after purchasing drugs from an undercover police officer. He was sentenced to 6 years in prison, but in July of 2007 was resentenced to less than 4 years in prison.[1]
In January of 2007, Physics teacher Alan Meade Beier was arrested on several counts of sexual child abuse. His trial is set for Novemeber 2007.[2]
