RIVER LOXLEY
The 'River Loxley' is a river in South Yorkshire, England. Its source is north west of Sheffield on the moorland above Low Bradfield. It flows easterly through Damflask Reservoir into the River Rivelin at Malin Bridge, in Hillsborough.
The river provided the initial course of the Great Sheffield flood, which happened after the Dale Dyke Dam collapsed shortly before its completion in 1864.
