ROB NINKOVICH
'Rob Ninkovich' (born February 1, 1984) is an American football defensive end who currently plays for the New Orleans Saints. Rob played Football with the Mokena Burros for several years before finally making his way to the Lincoln Way Central High School football and baseball teams. Rob attended Joliet Junior College in Joliet Illinois where two years later he whould set the record for the most sacks in school history (17). This caught the eye of several top 10 college teams. Rob had made the decision to go to the Purdue Boilermakers where he was named the team's MVP after his senior season. After graduating from Purdue he was selected in the 5th round of the NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints. In 2006 Rob suffered a season ending knee injury (ACL,MCL)during the third game of the season against the Atlanta Falcons. The following year Rob was once again on the disabled list for another injury of the MCL and was out for another 3-4 weeks.
