Dick Grayson

The name "Robin, The Boy Wonder" and the medieval look of the original costume are inspired by the legendary hero Robin Hood (more specifically, the Errol Flynn movie ''The Adventures of Robin Hood''), as well as the red-breasted American Robin, which parallels the "winged" motif of Batman.
Earth-Two: Silver Age version
This version adopts a costume which mimics several elements of Batman's own uniform (including an insignia with an encircled "R" surrounded by two bat wings).
Red Robin (Kingdom Come)

''Batman Forever'' and ''Batman & Robin''

In ''Batman Forever''[1][2], his costume closely resembles the Robin uniform worn by Tim Drake. In the latter film[3], Robin's costume resembled Dick Grayson's third "Nightwing" costume, but with rubber nipples, a cape and red/crimson coloring instead of blue. This latter outfit has been compared to the "Renegade" outfit Dick Grayson wore in comic books many years after the films.
''The Batman'' TV series

Grayson sports a costume much like comic book's Tim Drake first wore, although an early promotional photo showed a suit with a bit more originality.
Jason Todd

Pre-Crisis version
In this incarnation, he was red-haired and unfailingly cheerful, and wore his circus costume to fight crime until Dick Grayson presented him with a Robin suit of his own. At that point, he dyed his hair black.
Tim Drake

Drake's original costume was slightly different from that of his predecessors as supplied by Batman to give him a measure of increased protection. It includes an armored tunic, a cape that is black on the outside though still yellow on the inside, and green leggings. Other details include an armored gorget, jika-tabi style boots, an emergency "R" shuriken on his chest in addition to the traditional batarangs, and a collapsible bo staff as primary weapon. There is also a general change of the theme of the equipment from "Bat" to "Robin".
Following the ''Infinite Crisis' aftermath, Tim updated his costume to match the Superboy's black and red color scheme as homage to his late friend. These updates include long sleeves, the elimination of the green from the suit, the addition of scallops to his gloves and cape, and inclusion of a utility belt with pockets. The scallops on the cape give an illusion of feathers rather than bat-wings, as seen on the cape of the Batman. The stylized "R" on Robin's chest has been replaced with a more traditional one, though its appearance varies from artist to artist. Robin retains his "R" shurikens, but he now carries them in his belt as opposed to his tunic. This new costume closely resembles the Robin suit worn by the Robin character in ''The New Batman Adventures''.
Tunic
Tim's triple-weave red-breasted tunic is fire-resistant and Kevlar-shielded with the highest ballistics-rating currently available. There is also a steel gorget in the collar.
Cape
This is Nomex (on the outer layers) and Kevlar interwoven to be fire-resistant and bulletproof. Its weighted ends may be used for offensive purposes. The tips are lead-weighted.

Tim's utility belt includes a storage sheath for his telecoping Bo staff, slingshot, exploding Bang-a-rangs, and various computer hacker tools. There's also a rechargable oxygen cylinder, a removable buckle that reveals a mouthpiece/purge valve, an emergency rebreather with 15 minutes of breathing time per oxygen cylinder, a gas pellet pouch, and a quick-release hasp with a self-destruct mechanism.
Boots
Unlike the "pixie shoes" of previous Robins, Tim wears split-toe ninja tabi boots for stealth and added traction.
Mask
Starlite lenses, a radio receiver/transceiver and an inertial navigation unit are concealed in the mask.
Stephanie Brown

Stephanie sneaked into the Batcave in a handmade Robin costume, and Batman accepted her request to become the new Robin and put her through several months of intensive training. The fourth Robin patrolled with Batman for a time. Unfortunately, due to her disobeying his orders, Batman stripped her of the costume and told her that she was done being a hero.

1. Robin costume is not dissimilar to Batmans standard model from ASK-MAN FOREVER! Also its suit is ball safe. Only coloured it differs from Batman's combat suit: The colors chrome-red and chrome-green dominate with this model. Robin does not carry a head mask separates only one eye mask, which covers about half of its face. The black/yellow Cape is shorter a piece than the Batmans. It hands Robin to short under the knee throats.
2. Another big costuming improvement is the outfit for Robin. As portrayed in the film, the traditional, brightly colored garb is a vestige from the character's stint as one of the Flying Grayson's circus act. ''Well, I had to do something to justify that stupid costume!'' laughs Schumacher. ''Why should this guy be in screaming red and yellow next to a guy who's camouflaged in black? I'm a modest man, but our biggest triumph is redesigning the Robin suit - the credit belongs to Bob Ringwood. We kept the colors, but we darkened them. I took the liberty of assuming that Alfred (Michael Gough) made the Batsuit, so why shouldn't he help Robin make a great suit? Also, not only do I not like the Robin suit aesthetically, but it makes no sense. It has no protection, whereas the Batsuit is a form of armor. So we did the Robin suit as a version of that, which would help with self-defence.''
3. Like also Batman's costume, went through Robin's suit a revision. The main color is now also to black, similarly the Batsuit. A representative robin covers thereby its chest tank and ends at the gloves. The black/yellow cape had to yield a totally black Cape. Also the collar of the first Robin suits disappeared now, instead the cape is now attached at a halskrause. Altogether, Robin's suit now corresponds with his later age alter-ego Nightwing.

5. Robin's belt corresponds to the Panther belt in abgespeckter form. Its Batarangs are fastened to the back.
