ROCCASTRADA

'Roccastrada' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Grosseto in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 90 km south of Florence and about 25 km north of Grosseto. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,302 and an area of 284.8 km².^[1]
The municipality of Roccastrada contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Sticciano, Ribolla, Montemassi, Roccatederighi, Sassofortino, Torniella, and Piloni.
Roccastrada borders the following municipalities: Campagnatico, Chiusdino, Civitella Paganico, Gavorrano, Grosseto, Massa Marittima, Monticiano, Montieri.
