ROHA
'Roha' is a small town in Maharashtra state of India, 120 km south-east of Mumbai. Many chemical industries have opened up their manufacturing bases here. Roha is located between the banks of the Kundalika River and the hills of Kalasgiri. It has a population of over 90,000.
Roha is connected to Mumbai by Panvel harbour line and to Karjat by Panvel-Karjat line.
Roha is very well known for its Dhavir Temple. Every year this is an annual procession also known as "Palkhi" where thousands of people from far and near gather together for blessing of Shri Dhavir.
Just 30 km from Roha is tourism destination, Murud Janjira.
