ROLAND (DISAMBIGUATION)

'Roland' was a Frankish seneschal in Charlemagne's service, killed in the Battle of Roncevaux Pass in 778. He is known due to the epic poem ''La Chanson de Roland'' and for his popularization of the name. Roland may also mean:
