'Ronan' is also the main character of the book "The Riddle of Regla" by Zachariah Smith.
The character falls in love with a girl named Ebram, but is called to go on a quest to find the
treasure of Regla. He conquers many dangers with the help of his friends in order to
find the treasure. On the way to the city of Regla, Ronan meets a marooned sailor from one of
his grandfather's journeys by the name of Venik. When Ronan returns to his home, Venik falls in
love with Ebram and they get married. Ronan, while disappointed, is happy for his friend as he
sails off into the rising sun with his faithful sidekick, Zien.
