ROSE TREE PARK

'Rose Tree Park' is located on Providence Road in Upper Providence Township, Pennsylvania in the suburbs of Philadelphia and used to be used for steeplechase racing. The park is 122 acres large and is open to the public. There are benches, picnic tables, a playground, a gazebo, an ampitheater, nature trails, and three historical buildings in the park (one, the Rose Tree Tavern, is on the National Register of Historic Places). Besides offering daily recreational use, Rose Tree Park hosts events like free outdoor summer concerts and a festival of lights every December. It is a desired destination for free outdoor recreational activity, whether you are looking to read a book, ride a bike, watch a concert, take a walk, relax, or just enjoy the scenery.
