ROUNDABOUT THEATRE COMPANY

'The Roundabout Theatre Company' is the largest non-profit theatre company based in New York City. They own two Broadway theatres (Studio 54 and the American Airlines Theatre) and one Off-Broadway theatre (the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Arts). They are known for their Tony-award winning 1998 revival of Cabaret. Most recently, they produced the Broadway revivals of the Threepenny Opera, the Pajama Game, and The Apple Tree.
Roundabout was founded in 1965 by Gene Feist and Elizabeth Owens.[1]

Most recently, Roundabout won two Tony awards for its production of the Pajama Game (best revival of a musical and best choreography). Their production of Assassins in 2004 garnered them 5 Tony Awards, including best director, best featured actor, and best musical revival.[2]
