ROUSSILLON, VAUCLUSE
'Roussillon' () is a village and commune in the Luberon area of the Vaucluse ''department'' in southern France.
It is noted for its ochre deposits.
Samuel Beckett lived there during World War II and his house can be seen there.
Under the name of Peyrane, Roussillon is the subject of Laurence Wylie, Village in the Vaucluse (first edition 1957.)
