'Rulien Township' is a township located in Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of three. According to the United States Census Bureau, it is one of only nine places in the United States with a population of three people. The others are
East Blythe, California, North Red River Township, Minnesota, Hush Lake, Minnesota, Pfeiffer Lake, Minnesota, Livermore, New Hampshire, Hillsview, South Dakota, Point of Rocks, Wyoming, and Hobart Bay, Alaska.
