SAINT GEORGE BAY

'The Saint George Bay' or the '''Golfe de Saint-Georges ''' is located on the northern coast of the city of Beirut in Lebanon. The Saint George Bay is believed to be the place where Saint George slew the dragon.^[1] Today the bay houses Beirut's western marina. Upscale apartment buildings and highrise hotels overlook the bay and its palm-lined promenade, the Corniche.
