SALUGGIA

'Saluggia' (''Salugia'' in Piedmontese) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 30 km northeast of Turin and about 35 km southwest of Vercelli. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,128 and an area of 31.7 km².^[1]
The municipality of Saluggia contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Sant'Antonino di Saluggia.
Saluggia borders the following municipalities: Cigliano, Crescentino, Lamporo, Livorno Ferraris, Rondissone, Torrazza Piemonte, and Verolengo.
