SAN FRATELLO

'San Fratello' (Latin: 'Apollonia'^[1]), formerly 'San Filadelfo', is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 110 km east of Palermo and about 90 km west of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,371 and an area of 67.1 km².^[2]
San Fratello borders the following municipalities: Acquedolci, Alcara li Fusi, Caronia, Cesarò, Militello Rosmarino, Sant'Agata di Militello.
