SAN VITO DEI NORMANNI
'San Vito dei Normanni' is a small town in the southern part of the Italian region Apulia, called Salento, in the province of Brindisi (BR). It has around 20,000 inhabitants.
The largest church in the city is the Basilica of Santa Maria della Vittoria, locally known as the Chiesa Madre (Mother Church), which shows evidence of previous wars from the fist-sized holes that can be seen in and around the exterior.
A public library provides Internet access on the northwest side of town.
