'Villa de Santa Brígida' (Spanish meaning Saint Brigit is a Canarian municipality in the northeastern portion of the island of Gran Canaria in the Las Palmas province of the Canary Islands. The population is 18,817 (ISTAC, 2003), its density is 790.3/km² and the area is 23.81 km². It is located by a main highway linking it to the capital and has access with the superhighway GC3. The main industries are agriculture and tourism especially in the park area. The Atlantic Ocean is to the west, north and east, the mountains surround the municipality. Farmland is along the valleys.
