'Sarn' is a village in Bridgend County Borough, about 3 miles from Bridgend and lies at the bottom of the garw/ogmore valleys 15 minutes walk from the M4 and the Mcarthur Glen Designer Outlet Bridgend (Wales).
The community borders Bryncethin, Ynysawdre and the new stadium planned for Bridgend.
Its population is approximately 2,500. The heart of the community is the community centre and the supermarket (Filco Foods).
The nearest primary school is Bryncethin primary school and the nearest comprehensive schools are Ynysawdre and Artsbishop mcgrath which are right next to each other.
