Critical analysis
The case that gives the episode its title is based on a classic urban myth.[1]
The entire plot line was also mentioned in an episode of the crime show ''.
Continuity
The scene where Sara Sidle dusts plaster fragments from Grissom's face outside the apartment is later used as evidence in "The Accused is Entitled". The attempt is to show that there is a romantic attachment between the two, even though no such relationship is revealed until the end of season six in "Way To Go".
