SEAN ERVINE

'Sean Michael Ervine' (b. 6 December, 1982, Harare) is a Zimbabwean cricket player. He played on the Midlands cricket team in Zimbabwe and represented the Zimbabwe national team in five Tests and 42 one-day internationals. But he was one of several cricketers in dispute with the Zimbabwe Cricket Union in 2004, and he left the country to play for Hampshire in England and for Western Australia. Ervine has declared that he will not return to play for Zimbabwe and following excellent form for Hampshire in 2005 and at the start of the 2006 season has expressed an interest in qualifying by residence to play for England.
