SESTU

'Sestu' is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cagliari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 10 km North of Cagliari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 17,741. Most important churches: San Giorgio, San Salvatore and San Gemiliano. Sestu borders the following municipalities: Assemini, Cagliari, Elmas, Settimo San Pietro, Monserrato, Monastir, Serdiana, Selargius.
