SHANAZE READE
'Shanaze Reade' (born 23 September 1988) is a British BMX and track cyclist. Her victories at junior level included three World, eight European and five British BMX championships. In July 2007 she became the Womens Senior UCI BMX World Champion. She is likely to compete in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
At the 2007 UCI Track World Championships, in her first participation at a track world championships competition[1], she won the gold in the Women's Team Sprint with Victoria Pendleton.[2]
