SHART (SLANG)

'''Shart''' is a slang term to describe accidental defecation that occurs during flatulence. A portmanteau of ''shit'' and ''fart'', the word was likely coined for the dialogue between the characters portrayed by Ben Stiller and Philip Seymour Hoffman in the 2004 film ''Along Came Polly'', as noted by Canadian author William Casselman.
