SHIHMEN TOWNSHIP

'Shihmen' (Chinese:石門; lit. "Stone Gate") is a rural township in the northern part of Taipei County, Taiwan.
During the Imperial Japanese rule period, this township was called 'Sekimon village' (石門庄), and was governed by the Tamsui district (淡水郡) of the Taihoku Prefecture.
