SILVER PERCHLORATE
'Silver perchlorate' has formula AgClO4. It is a white solid that forms a light sensitive monohydrate (CAS No. 14242-05-8). It is also deliquescent. It is soluble in benzene (52.8 g.l-1), pyridine, toluene (1010 g.l-1) and organic solvents[1].
Similar to silver nitrate, silver perchlorate is a good way for replacing halides ligands with the perchlorate non-coordinating anion.
