'Sinan Şamil Sam' (born June 23, 1974 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany) is a Turkish heavyweight professional boxer. He is a fringe contender and has yet to land a major title shot.

Nicknamed the "Bull from Bosphorus", Sam turned pro in 2000 after a distinguished amateur career. Known for his iron chin, he won his first 18 fights, including victories over Przemyslaw Saleta, Danny Williams, and Julius Francis. In 2003 he suffered his first pro defeat to Juan Carlos Gomez and lost the following fight against Luan Krasniqi. In 2005 he upset Lawrence Clay Bey to set up a fight with Oleg Maskaev, a fight which he lost via unanimous decision. After the loss to Maskaev he defeated Saul Montana in 2006 but then lost a WBC elimination bout to Oliver McCall in June 2007.

★ '1995' 3rd place (Heavyweight) at the World Championships in Berlin, losing in the Semifinal to Luan Krasniqi

★ '1998' 3rd place (Super Heavyweight) at the European Championships in Minsk, Belarus

★ '1999' won the World Championships in the Super Heavyweight in Houston
