SINIOLCHU

'Siniolchu' is one of the tallest mountains of the Indian state of Sikkim. The 6888 m (22,598 feet) mountain is considered to be the most beautiful mountain in the state and considered by many mountaineers as the most majestic peak in the world. It is situated near the green lake adjacent to Mount Kangchenjunga, the highest peak in the state and third highest in the world.
Siniolchu’s summit was first scaled by a German national in 1936. Later Sikkimese Everest climber, Sonam Gyatso, also scaled the top.
