Solanco High School is the home of the Solanco Golden Mules who compete in section 1 and sometimes 2 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League. Solanco's athletics are noted for generally being good competitors in Wrestling, Baseball/Softball, Girls/Boys Cross Country, and Basketball. In football Solanco has finished 4-6 in 2006, 0-10 in 2005, 2-8 in 2004, and 3-7 in 2003.
Solanco High School is the origin of the Solanco Black Hole, a legendary student section that has heckled opposing basketball teams for many years.
Solanco's Boys Basketball team is coached by the great William "Bill" Moore and has won the Lancaster Lebanon League Section 2 title the last two years, finishing with a 16-10 record in the 2006-2007 season.
Also, Solanco Baseball finished second in section two, but pushed their way through Manheim Township, and won the League Championship Title against Warwick, with a noticeable performance by Jordan "Jay" McMillion who hit for the cycle. Solanco also just recently won the District 3 Class AAAA Championship over Cumberland Valley 3 to 2. Solanco earned a bid to States from that and they look to continue to win.
Solanco is one of few schools that does not have Lacrosse, Boys Volleyball, Ice Hockey, or Bowling programs or clubs

The Middle Schools are Swift and Smith Middle Schools which take 6th through 8th grade students. The 4 elementary schools are: Clermont, Bart-Colerain, Quarryville, and New Providence.
