'''Special Beat Service''' was the third and final album by the UK's The Beat. It reached #39 on the Billboard 200 album chart in 1983.
The song "Rotating Head" from the album had earlier been released on the b-side of "Jeanette" as an instrumental track called "March Of The Swivelheads", and which in 1986 was included on the soundtrack of the film ''Ferris Bueller's Day Off''. The song can be heard during the sequence where Ferris is running home through neighbors' gardens.
