St. Clairsville High School, sharing responsibilities with the Belmont-Harrison Career Center, houses the Ohio Valley's only student operated newscast, run under the name WSTC. It is typically aired with a new episode weekly, during the school year, on Comcast Cable's channel 10. The program is instructed by Karin Bloomquist.

St. Clairsville High School has been a member of the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC)[1] since 1947. It currently has some type of sports program for grades 7-12. Also, St. Clairsville is a current member of the Buckeye 8.
'George Strager'
Red Devil football coach George Strager[2] won the OVAC Coach-Of-The-Year title twice, in '79 and again in '87. No St. Clairsville coach has won the award since. Strager is also a member of the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame (Inducted 1998).[3]

The 2006-2007 Boys' Basketball team finished 2nd in OVAC,Buckeye 8 and finished as the District 12 Runner-Up.

Alex Thornburg (Fr.) advanced to the State Meet on November 04, 2006 where he finished 78th (17:25).
'Girls' Cross Country' - OVAC Runner-Up in 2006
Alanna Seamon (Sr.) and Kate Hodgson (Fr.) advanced to the State Meet on November 04, 2006. Seamon (20:20) went on to finish 64th and Hodgson (21:07) finished 94th.
'Football' - OVAC Champions in 1947, 1977, 1988-1990
The 2006 Red Devil Football advanced to the playoffs for the first time since 1989 following a 7-3 season and lost in the first round to Bellaire (49-21).

The Red Devil Golf Program as of 2005 had 9 more titles than its closest competition (20 to 11). It also shared the title for longest consecutive championships at 5.

'Wrestling' - 2006 Alumni Zac Schuller is currently competing for the University of Missouri's top ranked wrestling team. The Red Devils are coached by former Ohio State wrestler Jay Michael
'Queen of Queens' - Annually, the winner of St. Clairsville's Queen of Queens competition
goes on to compete at the OVAC Competition, with the winner being crowned during halftime of the All-Star Game. St. Clairsville has 4 Queen of Queens champions. Champions include Susan Kennedy (1987), Somer Graham (1995), Catherine Botos (1998), and Sarah Maurizi (2004).
