ST. GEORGE'S COLLEGE, MUSSOORIE

'St. George's College (Mussoorie)', is one of the premier boarding schools in Mussoorie, India. Towering over a lone mountain top, overlooking a small Never Never Land called 'Barlowganj' is the 150 years old St. George's College. It is located about 5kms away from the town of Mussoorie and is spread over a 400 acre picturisque and scenic estate.

Origin

The school, primarily an all-boys residential mainstay, was instituted in 1853 by the Capuchin Fathers and entrusted to the Society of the Reverend Brothers of St. Patrick (Patrician Brothers of Ireland) in 1894.
In 1948, St. Fidelis campus was amalgamated with St. George's College.

Alumni Success

Since its inception, St. George's College has contributed substantially to the country's armed forces and its success in sports and academics. Numerous alumni have made significant inroads in the fields of engineering and management. Various students have also pursued successful careers in medical sciences and associated processes.
