GEORGIA STATE ROUTE 108

(Redirected from State Route 108 (Georgia))

'State Route 108' is a two-lane highway in northwest Cherokee County and southern Pickens County in northwestern Georgia. The route begins at S.R. 20 in the Sutallee community and ends at the intersection of S.R. 53 and S.R. 53 Business (Old S.R. 5) in Tate. The route is largely rural, though it has notable amounts of truck traffic and traverses the small town of Waleska next to Reinhardt College.
In late 2005, S.R. 53 was relocated along part of S.R. 515 and S.R. 108, forming an overlap along the eastern portion of the route from S.R. 515 (modern S.R. 5) to S.R. 53 Business (Old S.R. 5) in Tate.
