STOKE BRUERNE
'Stoke Bruerne' is a small village in Northamptonshire in England.
The village's claim to fame is its situation on the Grand Union Canal and thus it is a favourite destination for gongoozlers. It is home to a Canal Museum at the top of a flight of canal locks. A few hundred metres from the museum is the entrance to Blisworth tunnel which, at 3,056 yards (2794 m), is one of the longest in the UK.
Stoke Bruerne's canal museum, canalside public house and tearooms attract many visitors during the summer months.
