SUMMERSEAT

'Summerseat' is a village in the valley of the river Irwell to the north of Bury, Greater Manchester, UK.
It is popular with visitors, for its picturesque scenery, but also because there is a station on the East Lancashire steam Railway situated in the village. Almost every month large music events such as HTID, Raver Baby, Slammin' Vinyl and Uproar come to Summerseat, this is why it is commonly known as the "raver capital of the world". There are many general locations for the use of low class drugs, with the occasional powerless Community Support Officer hassling the younger generations. There is a local Londis store which has great staff and excellent customer services. There are 2 public houses in Summerseat, The Footballers and The Hamers Arms.
Summerseat is known by locals as "Summy". Non-locals do not speak of Summerseat.
