SUMMIT HIGH SCHOOL (BEND, OREGON)

'Summit High School' is located in Bend, Oregon, United States. It is the fourth high school in Bend, after Bend High School, Mountain View High School, and Marshall High School. Construction finished in 2001, with freshman, sophomore, and junior students beginning school that fall. Summit expanded to include senior students in 2002.
Summit's mascot, The Storm, has changed significantly throughout the high school's brief history. In the school's opening ceremony in 2001, Summit Man was revealed as a Batman look-alike with a large "S" emblazoned on his chest. In late 2003, the school changed its mascot to a Thundercat.
