SWISTRACK

SwisTrack is a tool for trajectory tracking of marker-less objects. Trajectory data can be retrieved via TCP/IP, allowing for post-processing information in a distributed environment.
Tracking of multiple objects is an essential tool for understanding and modeling phenomena such as swarm intelligence and self-organization.
SwisTrack has been used in various research projects, ranging from entomological studies to swarm robotics, and has been initially developed within the european project LEURRE.
For being platform-independent SwisTrack uses the OpenCV library from Intel for image processing, and WxWidgets for the graphical user interface (GUI).
