SYRACUSE CHIEFS

The 'Syracuse Chiefs' are a minor league baseball team based in Syracuse, New York. The team was named the 'SkyChiefs' from 1996-2006, but the nickname reverted to the 'Chiefs' in December 2006. [1] The team, which plays in the International League, is the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays major-league club. The Chiefs play in Alliance Bank Stadium (formerly P&C Stadium), located in Syracuse. From 1934 to 1996 the team played at MacArthur Stadium.
