T. HARV EKER

'T. Harv Eker' is a business educator, known for his book, ''Secrets of the Millionaire Mind'' published by HarperCollins and his mobile business school, 'Peak Potentials Training'. He was originally a successful owner of a chain of fitness equipment stores, and then decided that his strategies were something that could be taught that most people were not learning.
He has various levels of training sessions, with names such as "Enlightened Warrior", "Wizard", etc. He is often able to recruit other multimillionaires to teach the courses, selling CDs at very high prices to defer the cost of these expert moneymakers taking time off to teach.
He has a set of his principles printed on illustrated cards published by Hay House.
Eker and his staff hold a series of seminars open to the general public (sometimes free, sometimes at a cost) which are advertised as educational, but at which classic hard-sell techniques figure prominently. As in many other hard-sell environments, attendees are urged by charismatic speakers to abandon their skepticism and engage in evangelistic "call and response" interaction. The apparent goal of the speakers/promoters, despite their persistent reassurance from the stage that motives are altruistic, seems to be to persuade the audience to purchase any or all of the plethora of expensive self-help products and extended seminars available from vending tables at the rear of the room. Despite the seemingly exploitative nature of his seminars, Eker is quite successful at this sales technique.
