'Tandridge' is a local government district in Surrey, England. Its council offices are based in Oxted. It is named for an ancient Tandridge hundred of Surrey that covered roughly the same area.
The district was formed on 1 April 1974, under the Local Government Act 1972, by the merger of Caterham and Warlingham urban district along with Godstone Rural District. Since 2000, parish councils once again cover the district.
The 3 May 2007 borough elections produced 30 Conservative seats, 10 Liberal Democrat seats, 1 Labour seat and 1 other.[1]
