TEESPORT
'Teesport' is a large sea port located in borough of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire in North-East of England. It is one of the United Kingdom's three largest ports[1] and lies three miles (5 km) to the east of Middlesbrough. It is currently owned by PD Ports, a division of Babcock & Brown[2]
The port covers an area of 200 hectares (2 square kilometres) of land alongside the Southern bank of the River Tees. At its heart is Tees Dock, a deep-water facility some 5 nautical miles (9 km) from the sea. The estate is rail connected and close to the A66 trans-pennine route, and to other major trunk roads.
Facilities include two Container Quays, one a 294 metre the other a 360 metre and Roll-on Roll Off (RORO) facilities
