TEOMAN
'Fazlı Teoman Yakupoğlu' (20 November 1967, Giresun, Turkey ), using the stage name 'Teoman', is a popular Turkish rock singer and song-writer. His biggest hits include "''Paramparça''", ''Senden Önce Senden Sonra'' and ''Papatya''. On ''Papatya'', Turkish female rock singer Özlem Tekin features as backing vocals. Şebnem Ferah has also featured on a couple of Teoman's tracks.
His song writing is unique in Turkey and his music is mostly classified as "pop-rock" or "soft rock".
He is also famous with his sincere attitude when he is interviewed; as well as most celebrity news about him being linked to alcohol or women.
Arguably, his music has made a big positive effect on the recently changing Turkish Popular Music.
He graduated from Bogazici University Sociology Department and later studied as a graduate student at the Women Studies Center at Istanbul University.
