'The Sphinx - Das Beste Aus Den Jahren 1976-1983' is a three disc box set by French singer Amanda Lear released in Germany in 2006.
''The Sphinx'' comprises the best from Lear's six albums on label Ariola-Eurodisc; ''I Am A Photograph'' (1977), ''Sweet Revenge'' (1978), ''Never Trust A Pretty Face'' (1979), ''Diamonds For Breakfast'' (1980), ''Incognito'' (1981) and ''Tam-Tam'' (1983), aswell as non-album singles "Solomon Gundie" (1980), "Fever" (1982), "Incredibilmente Donna" (1982) and double A-side "Love Your Body" / "Darkness And Light" (1983).

Five of the six original Ariola albums remain unreleased in their entirety on compact disc.
