Summary

When a woman is found dead in a movie star's hotel room, suspicion falls on the movie star (Tom Haviland, played by Chad Michael Murray). The CSIs must work under pressure from the media to find out what happened and the suspect's lawyer forces a speedy trial in order to rush the investigation and also brings in Grissom's ex-mentor as a specialist.

During the cross-examination of Sara Sidle an incident from "Scuba Doobie-Doo" is brought up. Haviland's lawyer implies that there is a romantic attachment between Sara and Grissom. However, no such relationship was acknowledged until the end of season six in "Way To Go".
