'''The Amazing Race Asia 2''' is the second season of the reality television game show ''The Amazing Race Asia''. The show will feature several teams of two, with a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the world to win US$100,000.
Applications were accepted through April 13, 2007 (two weeks than the original deadline). This season is also open to the Japanese, who were ineligible for Season 1. Final interviews was held sometimes in April or May 2007. Filming is expected took place sometime in June or July 2007.^[1][2]
This season is expected to be premiering in the fourth-quarter of 2007.^[3] This season of the race will also implement some of the twists/features introduced in later on the original American version, namely the Intersection.Teams spotted in Prague
Once again, Allan Wu will be the host of the race. He also commented that the race will travel "very very far this time around", and that there would be more self driving from the teams. He also added that all the teams will not be clumped up together on same flight as well as stating that new rules will also implemented.^[4]
