THE BLACK WALL STREET RECORDS
'The Black Wall Street Records' is a recording company founded by The Game and his half-brother Big Fase 100 in 2002 (see 2002 in music). The label is named after The Black Wall Street, a segregated black business district in Tulsa, Oklahoma during the early 1900s, which was eventually burned to the ground in the Tulsa Race Riot.
Big Fase 100, the main co-founder, officially left the label after internal problems began between him and The Game. Since then, Big Fase 100 went on to start his own record label called "Brazil & Wilmington Records".[1][1] Currently, the only project that The Black Wall Street has released as a group is a mixtape called ''The Black Wall Street Journal Vol. 1''. The label has a distribution deal with Capitol Records.
The Black Wall Street Records will release ''The Black Wall Street Journal Vol. 2'' sometime during 2007.
