THE BOMB SQUAD

'The Bomb Squad' is a hip hop production team whose original members were Carl Ridenhour (Chuck D), Hank Shocklee, Keith Shocklee and Eric "Vietnam" Sadler and Gary G-Wiz.
The Bomb Squad are noted for their dense, distinct, highly innovative production style, often utilizing dozens of samples on just one track. They are also known for their ability to incorporate harsh, unmelodic sounds and samples into their songs, generally enhancing them.
Although most famous for their work with Public Enemy, they have also contributed heavily to several hip hop albums released in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including Ice Cube's ''AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted'', Slick Rick's ''The Great Adventures of Slick Rick'' and Run-D.M.C.'s ''Down With The King''. They also produced a few tracks for New Jack/Hip-Hop group Bell Biv Devoe (A New Edition Spin-off group).
