You spelled Ed Lingao's name wrong. Its with a single G. Not that I think you spelled it wrong deliberately mind you. Only that Ed Lingao, along with Jim Libiran, Anne Torres and Jade Lopez left ABS-CBN three years ago, and were slapped with a P21 million case by ABS-CBN for leaving.
Anne is now in the USA with a dream job in PR. Ed, Jim and Jade are with ABC-5.
The Correspondents was conceived by reporters, producers and writers who wanted a story driven show, produced, shot, written and hosted by working journalists, and not a show driven by hosts who read what poor ghost writers wrote and shot for them. For a while it succeeded, but the drive for ratings and profit by the network changed all of that.
